iNovaDrive Damage, Incident & Dispute Policy
Effective Date: August 16, 2026
1. When an Incident Occurs
An incident may include an accident, collision, theft, vandalism, mechanical failure, damage or another event affecting a vehicle during a booking.
2. Immediate Responsibilities
Where reasonably safe and appropriate, the parties should take reasonable steps to protect people, comply with applicable law and preserve relevant information.
3. Reporting
Step 1: Report the incident as soon as reasonably possible.
Step 2: Provide accurate information about what occurred.
Step 3: Provide photographs, documents or other relevant evidence where reasonably available.
Step 4: Cooperate with applicable insurance, claims or investigation processes.
Step 5: Cooperate with iNovaDrive if the platform is facilitating communication or dispute resolution.
4. Insurance Claims
Insurance claims are handled according to the applicable insurance policy, endorsements, insurer requirements and applicable law.
iNovaDrive does not replace an insurer, claims adjuster, broker or other authorized claims professional.
5. Host Responsibilities
Hosts should maintain appropriate insurance for peer-to-peer vehicle use and follow their insurer's requirements when an incident occurs.
6. Renter Responsibilities
Renters must provide truthful information and cooperate with reasonable incident, claims and documentation requirements.
7. Evidence
Evidence may include photographs, messages, booking information, vehicle condition records, documents, reports and other information reasonably relevant to the matter.
8. Disputes
Where a dispute arises between a Host and Renter, iNovaDrive may facilitate communication and review relevant platform information.
iNovaDrive does not guarantee a particular outcome in every dispute.
9. Fraudulent Claims or Misrepresentation
Providing knowingly false information, manipulating evidence or making fraudulent claims may result in account restrictions and may be referred to appropriate parties where required or permitted by law.
10. Legal and Insurance Rights
Nothing in this policy replaces or limits rights or obligations arising under applicable insurance contracts or law.
