iNovaDrive Vehicle Sharing Policy

1. About Vehicle Sharing on iNovaDrive
iNovaDrive provides an online platform that allows approved vehicle owners ("Hosts") to make eligible vehicles available to approved users ("Renters" or "Guests").
iNovaDrive's goal is to create a transparent, professional and responsible vehicle-sharing environment where Hosts can participate as vehicle-sharing providers and Renters can access vehicles from members of the iNovaDrive community.
2. Host Eligibility
A vehicle may only be listed on iNovaDrive after the Host has satisfied the applicable platform requirements.
Hosts may be required to provide information or documentation relating to:
- The Host's identity.
- Ownership or lawful possession of the vehicle.
- Vehicle registration.
- Vehicle condition.
- Vehicle availability.
- Insurance appropriate for peer-to-peer vehicle use.
- Other information reasonably required by iNovaDrive.
3. Vehicle Insurance Requirements
Hosts are responsible for ensuring that their vehicles are properly insured and legally eligible for peer-to-peer vehicle sharing.
Hosts must comply with applicable insurance requirements, including requirements imposed by ICBC, their insurer, insurance broker and applicable law.
Where applicable, a Host may be required to obtain or maintain the appropriate peer-to-peer vehicle rental/use endorsement, rate class, coverage or other insurance arrangement before the vehicle can be approved on iNovaDrive.
4. Professional Host Standards
iNovaDrive encourages Hosts to operate professionally and responsibly.
Hosts are expected to:
- Provide accurate vehicle information.
- Use truthful and current photographs.
- Keep listing information current.
- Maintain the vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition.
- Keep required documentation current.
- Communicate respectfully with Renters.
- Provide accurate pickup and return instructions.
- Disclose material information that may affect a Renter's decision.
- Report significant incidents promptly.
5. Renter Verification
iNovaDrive may verify Renters before approving a booking.
Verification may include review of a valid driver's licence, government-issued identification, photographs of identification and other information reasonably necessary to establish eligibility and reduce fraud or misuse.
Completion of verification does not guarantee that every booking request will be approved.
6. Booking Approval
A booking is not considered approved solely because a Renter submits a request. iNovaDrive and/or the applicable Host may require verification and completion of applicable requirements before a booking is confirmed.
7. Vehicle Condition
Hosts are expected to provide vehicles that are maintained in accordance with applicable law and reasonably suitable for the intended use described in the listing.
Renters must treat vehicles responsibly and report material issues, damage or incidents as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Prohibited Vehicle Use
A vehicle may not be used for unlawful, dangerous or prohibited activities.
Examples may include:
- Illegal activities.
- Unauthorized commercial use.
- Racing or speed competitions.
- Off-road use where not authorized.
- Use by unauthorized drivers.
- Transport of prohibited goods.
- Any use prohibited by applicable law or the applicable insurance policy.
9. Platform Standards
iNovaDrive may suspend, restrict or remove a vehicle or account where there is a reasonable concern regarding safety, fraud, inaccurate information, insurance, legal compliance or repeated violations of platform standards.
10. Respect for the Community
iNovaDrive is intended to be a professional community. Hosts and Renters are expected to communicate honestly, treat each other respectfully and use the platform responsibly.
11. Relationship With Other Policies
This Vehicle Sharing Policy should be read together with the iNovaDrive Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Host Standards, Renter Responsibilities, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Damage and Dispute Policy, and Community Standards.
