iNovaDrive Host Standards & Professional Service Policy
Effective Date: August 16, 2026
iNovaDrive believes that a strong marketplace is built by Hosts who take pride in their vehicles, communicate professionally and provide accurate information to the community.
1. Who Is a Host?
A Host is a vehicle owner or other person lawfully authorized to make an eligible vehicle available through iNovaDrive.
2. Professional Listing Standards
Accurate Information
Hosts must provide accurate information about:
- Vehicle make and model.
- Year.
- Condition.
- Features.
- Availability.
- Location.
- Pricing.
- Restrictions.
Honest Photos
Photos should reasonably represent the actual vehicle being offered. Hosts should not intentionally use misleading photographs.
3. Vehicle Standards
Hosts are responsible for maintaining their vehicles in accordance with applicable laws and requirements.
Hosts should ensure that vehicles are:
- Properly registered and legally permitted to operate.
- Properly maintained.
- Reasonably clean and presentable.
- Safe and roadworthy.
- Free from material undisclosed defects.
- Properly insured for the applicable use.
4. Insurance and Peer-to-Peer Eligibility
Hosts must maintain insurance appropriate for peer-to-peer vehicle sharing.
Hosts are responsible for confirming their vehicle's eligibility and coverage with their insurance provider or broker.
Where required, Hosts must obtain the appropriate peer-to-peer vehicle rental/use endorsement, rate class or other applicable insurance arrangement before listing or making the vehicle available.
iNovaDrive may request evidence of insurance or other documentation where reasonably necessary to verify eligibility.
5. Professional Communication
Hosts represent an important part of the iNovaDrive experience.
Hosts are expected to:
- Communicate respectfully.
- Provide accurate instructions.
- Respond reasonably promptly.
- Avoid misleading statements.
- Respect agreed booking arrangements.
- Communicate material changes as soon as reasonably possible.
6. Pickup and Return
Hosts should provide clear instructions regarding pickup and return.
Any special requirements should be communicated before the booking whenever reasonably possible.
7. Vehicle Cleanliness
Hosts should provide vehicles in a reasonably clean and presentable condition.
8. Maintenance
Hosts remain responsible for maintaining their vehicles and addressing maintenance issues appropriately.
9. Incidents
Hosts must promptly report significant accidents, damage, theft, loss, safety concerns or other incidents involving a vehicle made available through iNovaDrive.
10. Professional Conduct
Hosts must not engage in harassment, discrimination, threats, fraud, intimidation, misleading conduct or other behaviour that undermines the iNovaDrive community.
11. Insurance Consistency Across the Platform
iNovaDrive's goal is to maintain consistent standards for Hosts. Hosts should work with their insurance broker to ensure their vehicles are properly insured for the intended peer-to-peer use before participating on the platform.
The specific insurance coverage available to a Host depends on the Host's policy, endorsements, insurer, vehicle and circumstances. Hosts should not rely solely on statements from another Host when determining their own insurance requirements.
12. Platform Enforcement
iNovaDrive may review a Host's account or vehicle where there are concerns involving safety, inaccurate information, insurance, legal compliance, fraud or repeated violations of these standards.
Depending on the circumstances, iNovaDrive may require corrective action, temporarily restrict a listing or account, or remove a listing from the platform.
13. Our Commitment
iNovaDrive wants Hosts to succeed by providing professional service, responsible vehicles and a trustworthy experience for the people who use them.
